About the Order
EMS Limited, through a stock exchange filing, announced that it has been awarded a significant contract by UP Jal Nigam (Urban) for the fabrication of different parts of the Fatehpur Sewerage and Sewage Treatment Scheme (Zone-1) in the Fatehpur district. The contract value is worth Rs 183.81 crore (excluding GST), and the completion time is set to be 24 months.
As of March 31, 2025, the company has a total unexecuted order book of Rs 2,236 crore, out of which 75 percent of the orders come from its water and wastewater segment, followed by 19 percent with the Building works segment, and the remaining 6 percent with power works.
Financial Highlights
The company’s revenue for Q1 FY26 came in at Rs 239 crore, registering a 16 percent growth from Rs 206 crore in the same quarter last year. Coming to its profitability, the company reported a net profit growth of 3 percent to Rs 38 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to Rs 37 crore in Q1 FY25.
The stock has delivered an ROE and ROCE of 20.69 percent and 26.91 percent respectively, and is currently trading at a P/E of 16x as compared to its industry P/E of 22x.
