With the market capitalization of Rs. 1,731.45 crore, the shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd is trading at Rs. 610, up by 5.36 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 578.95 per equity share, and it has reached a high of Rs. 635.80 in the same trading day.
Work Order
Antony Lara Enviro Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a material subsidiary of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd., has secured two orders from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd., worth a total of Rs. 3,200 crore.
The contracts entail developing two ~15 MW Waste-to-Energy plants in Kadapa and Kurnool, which will process municipal solid waste through a Material Recovery Facility and incinerate it in a Waste-to-Energy facility. Each project will be executed within approximately 24 months after key agreements or land transfer, and operated under a concession period of 20 years during which power generated will be purchased by Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL), the distribution utility serving the Kurnool and YSR Kadapa regions, at a rate of Rs. 8.10 per unit. .
