Wall Street opened muted on Tuesday after tech stocks faced renewed selling, following the steepest one-day decline in nearly two weeks. The Dow fell 27.1 points (0.06%) to 48,434.88, the S&P 500 dropped 5.3 points (0.08%) to 6,900.44.
