Swiggy Ltd.’s loss in the first quarter of this financial year widened to Rs 1,197 crore. This is in comparison to a loss of Rs 1,081 crore in the preceding quarter, according to the financial results declared by the food delivery major on Thursday.
The company’s revenue increased 12.5% quarter-on-quarter for the three months ended June, reaching Rs 4,961 crore. Operating loss, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation narrowed sequentially to Rs 954 crore.
