Synopsis: Chennai-based transformer manufacturer Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL) has announced securing multiple domestic orders worth Rs. 128 crore from reputed firms in Hyderabad. This major win significantly bolsters the company’s order book, providing high revenue visibility for the next 13 to 17 months.
In a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange on April 24, 2026, Supreme Power Equipment Limited disclosed that it has secured four significant domestic orders totaling Rs. 128 crore. The orders, primarily for the supply of high-capacity power and distribution transformers, were received across two batches in April from companies based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The first set of orders, secured on April 22, includes a Rs. 51.30 crore contract for 20MVA power transformers and a Rs. 23.30 crore contract for a massive 160MVA, 220 kV transformer.
Earlier in the month, on April 13, the company bagged two other contracts worth Rs. 39.90 crore and Rs. 13.50 crore for various transformer specifications. These projects come with execution timelines ranging from 11 to 17 months, ensuring a steady stream of operational activity through the 2027 fiscal year.
With these latest additions, the consolidated order book for the company has reached an impressive Rs. 577.72 crore (This includes Rs. 96.28 crore from its subsidiary, Danya Electric Company). This is a substantial jump considering the company recorded a total revenue of Rs. 149.54 crore in FY25, indicating that the current order book is more than 3.8 times its previous annual turnover.
For investors, the math is compelling. The company reported a Net Profit of Rs. 18.60 crore and an EBITDA of Rs. 29.07 crore in FY25. With an order book now exceeding Rs. 577 crore, the company has secured revenue visibility that far outstrips its historical performance, suggesting a significant “step-up” in scale is underway.
Supreme Power Equipment Limited is currently locked at its upper circuit of Rs. 234.60 (+4.99%), driven by 100% buy-side demand. The stock has been a multi-bagger performer, delivering nearly 94% returns over the past year and a massive 49% surge in the last month. Despite its SME status and 100% margin requirement, a high delivery percentage of 98.11% reflects strong investor confidence as it nears its 52-week high of Rs. 246.00.
