As the aircraft crashed on June 12th, Boeing’s share price has gone down by 5%. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated a formal probe, collecting flight data, voice recordings, and witness accounts. Preliminary theories suggest possible engine failure or flight control malfunction, but no official cause has been confirmed yet.
Boeing has pledged full cooperation with Indian authorities and is providing technical assistance to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other investigative bodies. A team from Boeing, along with officials from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has arrived in Ahmedabad to support the ongoing investigation.
