Colgate-Palmolive Ltd. reported a 17% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 327.50 crore for the quarter ended September.
Following the subdued performance in the second quarter, brokerages including Citi, Investec, and Jefferies revised their target prices, with mixed outlooks on the company’s near-term growth prospects.
The scrip slided 3% with the share price slipping to Rs 2,208 as of 9:27 a.m. This decline compared to a 0.11% decline in the Nifty 50.

The scrip was also the top gainer on the Nifty 50 as of 12:43 p.m. The scrip was trading at Rs 821.40 apiece on the NSE as these gains compare to a 0.25% decline in the Nifty 50 as of 12:42 p.m.

The scrip was up 14.22% at Rs 39.92 apiece on the NSE. This compared to a 0.15% decine in the Nifty 50 as of 12:15 p.m.
