A small-cap stock in the business of providing integrated learning solutions across online, offline, and hybrid formats surged after its subsidiary reported strong growth. The unit crossed Rs 100 crore revenue, more than doubling YoY, while achieving record student enrolments and expanding its presence across South India.

With a market cap of more than Rs 1,300 Cr, Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd saw its stock hit an intraday high of Rs 146, which is 7 percent higher than the previous close of Rs 136. The company stock is currently trading at a PE of 51 which is significantly higher than the industry PE of 18.

What’s the update?

On 24th March, Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd announced that the company’s subsidiary- Veranda RACE achieved a significant milestone by crossing Rs 100 crore in revenue, more than doubling from Rs 51 crore in FY 2022-23. The institution surpassed 5 lakh cumulative student enrolments since its inception in 2012, recording its highest-ever annual intake of 50,000 students across various learning formats.

The annual intake included 37,000 offline students across 40+ branches, 12,000 online learners, and 1,000 residential students. Notably, 2,754 students cleared government exams this year. Its digital reach extends to 2 million YouTube subscribers, while “Victory Lap” success meets will span 15 cities.

Apart from this, Veranda RACE is aggressively strengthening its presence across Kerala and Karnataka. Its offline network includes branches in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Bengaluru, Mysore, and Dharwad. Residential coaching is also offered at the Kadakkal campus in Kerala to boost student success.

Part of the Kalpathi AGS Group, it offers online, offline, and hybrid coaching for K-12, competitive exams (UPSC, Banking, CA), and professional upskilling. In the latest quarter, the company saw a YoY revenue growth of 18 percent, going from Rs 99 Cr in Q3FY25 to Rs 117 Cr in Q3FY26. Meanwhile, the QoQ revenue went down by 8 percent from Rs 127 Cr in Q2FY26. The company made a Net loss of Rs 203 Cr in Q3FY25, but this turned to a profit of Rs 13 Cr in Q3FY26, but the QoQ fell by 86 percent from Rs 96 Cr in Q2FY26. The company has a 3 year sales CAGR of 84 percent, while the TTM is at 9 percent. And the company’s TTM profit CAGR is at 109 percent.
