With a market capitalisation of Rs 442 crores, the shares of Mangalam Organics Ltd are currently trading at Rs 517 per share, down by 28 percent from its 52-week high of Rs 716.95.
Over the past five years, the stock has delivered a poor return of 27.44 percent. As of March 2025, Radhakishan Damani holds a 2.17 percent stake in the company.
Mangalam Organics recently reported a fire incident at its Camphor plant located in Kumbhivali Village, Khopoli, Maharashtra. The fire erupted on the night of July 16, 2025, around 10:50 p.m., resulting in a complete shutdown of the affected division. While the fire was successfully contained, it caused significant damage to both the plant and its machinery. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported.
The company mentioned that it is currently evaluating the extent of the damage and has already notified its insurance provider, as both the facility and goods were fully insured.
They also noted that the team is working diligently to restore operations as soon as possible and will provide updates on the estimated losses once the assessment is finalised.
Financial Highlights
Mangalam Organics reported a revenue growth of 7.29 percent to Rs 530 crores in FY25 from Rs 494 crores in FY24. Its net profit surged by 225 percent to Rs 13 crores in FY25 from Rs 4 crores in FY24.
The stock delivered an ROE and ROCE of 4.39 percent and 7.49 percent, respectively, and is currently trading at a P/E of 35.12x as compared to its industry average of 29.75x.
Mangalam Organics Limited is a chemical manufacturer that caters to both Indian and international markets. They produce a variety of terpene products, including camphor, camphene, isobornyl acetate, terpineol, and pine tar, along with resin products that are essential for adhesives and coatings.
Additionally, they create camphor tablets. These products find applications in numerous industries such as household goods, healthcare, hygiene, textiles, paints, rubber, adhesives, and even for religious purposes.
