Orient Green Power Company Limited, through its subsidiary Gamma Green Power Private Limited, has completed a 9.9 MW wind project by installing 3 wind turbine generators of 3.3 MW each within the timeline announced on February 02, 2026. The execution moved in phases, with 2 turbines aggregating 6.6 MW receiving service connection on March 20, 2026, followed by the final 3.3 MW turbine on April 27, 2026. 

With all three units now connected, only procedural formalities remain before full commissioning, expected the same day. The project was executed on a turnkey basis through Renfra Energy India Limited in Tiruchirappalli District. This shows that the subsidiary is able to move from contract to near operation without delays, shifting the focus toward how quickly the full 9.9 MW capacity starts generating power and contributing to the company’s overall performance.

Orient Green Power Company Limited is an India-based renewable energy company focused on power generation from wind energy, along with a smaller presence in solar. It owns and operates wind farms across multiple states and also has an international footprint. The company focuses on long-term power purchase agreements, improving plant efficiency, and steady capacity addition.

Quarter on Quarter analysis: Revenue from operations has decreased from Rs. 131 Crores to Rs. 36 Crores, down 72 percent. Operating profit decreased from Rs. 100 Crores to Rs. 13 Crores, down 87  percent and net profit has turned into net loss of Rs. 21 Crores from profit of Rs. 81 Crores
