The 9th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League marked a milestone year for the Tamil Thalaivas, as they reached the playoffs for the very first time. However, they backed the season up with back-to-back 9th place finishes, failing to capitalise on their 2022 success.
The Chennai-based franchise are looking to make a statement in PKL 2025 after appointing the two-time title-winning coach Sanjeev Baliyan. They have arguably put together their most talented squad yet and will aim for playoff qualification at a minimum.

Tamil Thalaivas PKL 2025 Schedule
The Tamil Thalaivas will start their PKL 2025 campaign against Pawan Sehrawat’s former team, the Telugu Titans. The southern derby is the opening game of the season and will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag.
