Q1 Highlights
The company reported a revenue of Rs 106.6 crore in Q1 FY26, up by 13 percent from its Q1 FY25 revenue of Rs 94 crore. Additionally, on a QoQ basis, it grew by 15 percent from Rs 93 crore.
Its EBITDA surged by 194 percent to Rs 19.3 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to Rs 6.6 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Coming to its profitability, the company reported a net profit of Rs 6.5 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to a loss of Rs 4.2 crore in Q1 FY25 and a loss of Rs 71 lakhs in its previous quarter.
Among the different segments, Exhibitor Revenue stood out as the biggest player, climbing from Rs 44.3 crore to Rs 48.8 crore in Q1 FY26, even though its share dipped a bit from 47 percent to 46 percent.
Distributor Revenue saw a slight increase as well, moving up from Rs 27.9 crore to Rs 29.8 crore, while keeping a steady share of about 28–30 percent. The real star of the show was Advertisement Revenue, which surged from Rs 21.9 crore to Rs 28 crore, boosting its contribution from 23 percent to 26 percent. This clearly shows a strong comeback in ad-based monetization, even as the exhibitor and distributor segments held their own.
UFO Moviez is India’s first company to digitize cinemas via satellite, and has now become the biggest in-cinema advertising platform, reaching an impressive 1.8 billion viewers every year through 3,762 screens spread across 1,352 cities.
It changed the game for movie releases with its “First Day–First Show” initiative, provides comprehensive cinema solutions, and even extends its reach to rural areas with Caravan Talkies, striving to ensure that everyone has access to unbiased, uninterrupted cinema.
