With a market capitalization of Rs. 1,363 crore, the shares of Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Ltd were trading at Rs. 759.10, up by 6.94 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 709.85. In today’s trading session, the stock touched a high of Rs. 794.90.

Q1FY26 Results

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Ltd reported Rs. 187.37 crore in revenue for the first quarter of FY26, a moderate increase of 3.12 percent over the Rs. 181.70 crore for the same period in FY25. However, from Rs. 187 crore in Q4 FY25, revenue increased by 0.2 percent sequentially.

The company’s operating profit stood at Rs. 12.77 crore in Q1FY26, decreased by 20.78 percent compared to Rs. 16.12 crore in Q4FY25, whereas it increased by 39.11 percent compared to Rs. 9.18 crore in Q1FY25.

The net profit for the first quarter of FY26 was Rs. 6.43 crore, which was 28.79 percent lower than the Rs. 9.03 crore reported in the previous quarter and 155.16 percent higher year over year than the Rs. 2.52 crore in Q1 FY25. Profit growth was also reflected in earnings per share (EPS), which increased to approximately Rs. 3.60 in Q1 FY26 from Rs. 1.41 in Q1 FY25.

Butterfly Gandimathi Appliances Ltd reported strong growth in mixer grinders and pressure cookers, which was aided by improved channel performance and increased market share in core categories. The company launched a refreshed brand positioning under the theme ‘Celebrating Change’ and introduced the ‘Idea First Series’, which includes over 40 new SKUs. This new brand strategy is driving premiumization throughout the product portfolio.

Swetha Sagar, Chief Business Officer of Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, stated that despite low consumer demand, the company’s revenue and EBITDA increased. With the launch of the new brand positioning ‘Celebrating Change,’ they introduced innovative, industry-first solutions under the ‘Idea First Series’ to meet changing kitchen needs. She emphasized the company’s focus on leveraging brand strength and a product portfolio revamp to drive growth and deepen consumer engagement.
