HCL Technologies Ltd.’s net profit fell sequentially in the third quarter of the current financial year due to a one-time impact on new labour codes.

The IT giant reported a consolidated bottom-line of Rs 4,082 crore in the December quarter, compared to Rs 4,236 crore in the preceding quarter, according to an exchange filing on Monday.

Analysts on Bloomberg had estimated the net profit to grow by 11% to Rs 4,702 crore.
