The 2025 Formula 1 season moved into a crucial stage with the Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay on October 5. Under the bright night lights of the city, George Russell drove brilliantly to take victory for Mercedes, while McLaren sealed the Constructors’ Championship, a major milestone that highlighted their complete dominance this year.

Singapore GP Recap

The race was full of action from the start to finish. George Russell started from pole position and stayed in control throughout the race, he managed his tyres and pace perfectly on one of the toughest tracks on the calendar. George crossed the line 5.4 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who tried to close the gap in the final laps but fell short.

Lando Norris (McLaren) finished third after a close fight with his teammate Oscar Piastri, who came fourth. Both the McLaren drivers made little contact on the opening lap, but both continued without damage, later the steward decided it was just a racing incident.

Russell’s victory marked his second win of the season and helped Mercedes close the gap in the standings. Meanwhile, McLaren’s strong double finish confirmed them as 2025 Constructors’ Champions, securing the title with six races still to go.
