Synopsis: E to E Transportation Infrastructure bags ₹44.66 crore Eastern Railway contract for signaling/telecom upgrade on 64-km Rampurhat-Dumka stretch, part of Bhagalpur-Dumka doubling project.

This Infrastructure comany has secured a major contract from Indian Railways. Eastern Railway’s Howrah Division has issued a Letter of Acceptance dated April 10, 2026, awarding the company a Rs 44.66 crore signaling and telecom upgrade project. The work covers a 64-kilometre stretch between Rampurhat and Dumka. This is part of the larger 177-kilometre Bhagalpur–Dumka–Rampurhat doubling project.

E to E Transportation Infrastructure’s Limited’s stock, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 314 crores, rose Rs. 189.95, up 4.2 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 182.30.  Investors viewed the government order as a sign of steady revenue visibility. The win through competitive bidding added further confidence to the stock’s near-term outlook.

The company will handle the full scope of signaling work. This includes design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Electronic Interlocking systems. Additionally, the project covers MSDAC and other associated signaling and telecom works. All tasks relate directly to supporting the railway doubling initiative in the Howrah Division.

E to E must complete the entire project within 12 months. The clock starts from the date of the Letter of Acceptance, which is April 10, 2026. Furthermore, the company must submit a performance guarantee of Rs 2.23 crore within 21 days. This amount equals 5% of the total contract value.

Eastern Railway falls under the Ministry of Railways, a central government body. Therefore, the order qualifies as a domestic government contract. The company confirmed that no promoter or group company holds any interest in Eastern Railway. As a result, this transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction. It is carried out entirely at arm’s length, in line with fair business practices.
