Synopsis: In provisional business update disclosures filed on April 2, 2026, Dhanlaxmi Bank reported total business of Rs. 33,773 crore for the year ended March 31, 2026 up 19.68 percent year-on-year driven primarily by a 71.41 percent surge in gold loan disbursals to Rs. 6,512 crore; the outsized gold book, now accounting for over 43 percent of gross advances, sets up a strong headline but raises portfolio concentration questions ahead of the audited results

Provisional year-end numbers from a Thrissur-headquartered private sector bank showed broad-based business momentum for FY26, with gross advances growing at roughly twice the pace of deposits and gold loans delivering the standout performance across all tracked segments.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 867.94 crore, the shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank Limited were trading at 22.02 per share, down 2.09 percent from its previous close of Rs 22.51. It is trading at a P/E of 10.07.
