Cabinet Approves Rs 37,500 Crore Coal Gasification Scheme; Targets 50,000 Jobs, Rs 3 Lakh Crore In Investment

The scheme targets gasification of approximately 75 million tonnes of coal and lignite, and is expected to catalyse total investment of Rs 3 lakh crore from public and private players combined.
