Here are the stocks in which BNP Paribas Financial Markets bought a stake via a block deal;

1. Bank of Maharashtra

The Bank of Maharashtra Limited (the Bank) is engaged in providing banking services. The Bank’s segments include Treasury, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Other Banking Operations. The Treasury segment includes investments, balances with banks outside India, interest accrued on investments, and related income.  

With a market capitalization of Rs 44,141.83 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 57.39 per share, increasing around 0.30 percent as compared to the previous closing price.

According to the exchange, BNP Paribas Financial Markets has acquired 24.75 lakh shares in the bank at a price of Rs 56.66 per share, however, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius offloaded the same quantity via block. The transaction is valued at Rs 14.02 crore

2. Swiggy

Swiggy is a technology company that allows users to browse, select, order, and pay for food through a single food delivery service app. Users can also order groceries and household items via Swiggy’s Instamart. Orders placed on the app are delivered directly to customers’ doorsteps through a network of delivery partners.  

With a market capitalization of Rs 97,750.96 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 392.00 per share, increasing around 1.54 percent as compared to the previous closing price.

According to the exchange, BNP Paribas Financial Markets bought 3.2 lakh shares at Rs 381 per share; however, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius offloaded the same quantity via a block. The transaction is valued at Rs 12.20 crore.
