Amaravati Gains Legal Status As Andhra Pradesh Capital, CM N Chandrababu Naidu Hails Decision

The Centre has legally confirmed Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh following President Droupadi Murmu’s assent to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Amendment Act, 2026.
