Synopsis: Advait Energy wins two PGVCL orders worth ₹98 Cr for Gujarat power line upgrades in Amreli, Bhavnagar. Nine-month projects boost infrastructure firm’s order book under RDSS scheme.
Company secures back-to-back contracts for power infrastructure work across Gujarat Advait Energy Transitions has landed two major government contracts on the same day. The Vadodara-based company received both orders from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL) on March 30, 2026. Together, the deals are worth over ₹98 crore. The work covers power distribution upgrades across two Gujarat districts.
The company’s shares trade on BSE and on NSE under the symbol ADVAIT. Investors will watch closely as these back-to-back wins signal fresh revenue visibility for the firm. Orders of this size often act as near-term catalysts for mid-cap infrastructure stocks.
Advait Energy Transitions Limited’s stock, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 1,844 crores, fell to Rs. 1,686.05 down 4.20 percent on monday from its previous closing price of Rs. 1,760. Furthermore, the stock over the past year has given a return of 43.5 percent.
What the Orders Cover
The first contract involves the Amreli district. Advait will supply, install, test, and commission 11 KV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (MVCC) lines there. This order carries a value of ₹44.48 crore, including taxes. The second contract covers the Bhavnagar district and is slightly larger, at ₹53.83 crore including taxes. Both projects fall under India’s Revamped Reforms-Based and Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme, better known as RDSS.
The company must complete both projects within nine months. The work involves laying covered conductor lines with all accessories. These are domestic orders, awarded by a state-run power utility. PGVCL serves western Gujarat and is one of the largest state discoms in the country. Neither order involves any related-party transaction, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
Why This Matters
The RDSS scheme aims to cut power losses and improve supply quality across India. State utilities are actively awarding contracts under this programme. Therefore, companies like Advait stand to benefit as spending picks up. Winning two packages in a single day shows the company is competing aggressively for RDSS-linked work in Gujarat.
Together, the two orders add roughly ₹98.32 crore to Advait’s order book. For a mid-sized listed company, that is a meaningful addition. The contracts also show the firm’s growing foothold in the government power infrastructure space. As India pushes to modernise its electricity grid, more such orders could follow in the months ahead.
