Shares of part of the globally diversified Adani portfolio and the largest private transmission and distribution company in India, with a large smart metering portfolio, are in focus on Thursday, after a foreign institutional investor (FII) offloaded a 1.83 percent stake worth around Rs. 1,736.7 crores.

At 01:10 p.m., the shares of Adani Energy Solutions Limited were trading in the red at Rs. 777.8 on BSE, down by around 2 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 790.65, with a market cap of Rs. 93,436 crores. The stock has delivered negative returns of over 30 percent in the last one year, and has fallen by around 12 percent in the last one month.

As per the latest bulk deal, Envestcom Holding RSC Limited offloaded a total of nearly 2.2 crore equity shares, equivalent to a 1.83 percent stake, in Adani Energy Solutions Limited, across both the NSE and BSE. The total deal transaction was valued at nearly Rs. 1,736.7 crores, with shares changing hands at an average price of Rs. 790 per share.

As of the June 2025 shareholding data available with the BSE, foreign investor  Envestcom Holding RSC Limited held a 2.68 percent stake in Adani Energy Solutions Limited.

Adani Energy Solutions reported a significant growth in its revenue from operations, showing a year-on-year increase of around 27 percent from Rs. 5,379 crores in Q1 FY25 to Rs. 6,819 crores in Q1 FY26. Similarly, the company turned its net losses of Rs. 1,191 crores into a net profit of Rs. 539 crores over the same period.
