Sensex, Nifty rise for 6th consecutive session— 10 key highlights from the Indian stock market today

The Sensex ended 143 points, or 0.17 per cent, higher at 82,000.71, while the Nifty 50 ended at 25,083.75, up 33 points, or 0.13 per cent. The BSE Midcap index slipped 0.12 per cent, while the Smallcap index ended almost flat.
