U.S. Treasury Chief Scott Bessent highlighted a shift in U.S.-China trade dynamics, noting current tariffs of 30% on Chinese goods and ongoing fentanyl-related tariffs, while also observing signs of de-escalation and China’s intent to act as a “responsible partner.”
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Iran is reeling from a U.S. strike, with oil sanctions still in place. He highlighted gas, nuclear, and coal as vital for the U.S. grid and expects nuclear plant costs to drop with hyperscaler involvement.
Russian President stated
- Russia, US have good economic cooperation prospects.
