The Adani Foundation has undertaken comprehensive community upliftment and sustainable growth initiatives across various districts of Odisha. These efforts address critical needs in education, healthcare, livelihood, tribal welfare, community infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and disaster response.

In education support, the Foundation enhanced infrastructure and quality within government schools, by providing digital learning tools, scholarships, and remedial classes for rural students.

Their healthcare outreach saw Mobile Health Units regularly serving remote tribal villages with basic medical care. The Foundation has also organised specialised health camps for women and children in underserved areas.

When it came livelihood empowerment, the Adani Foundation conducted skill development programs for youth and women in tailoring, farming, and fisheries. It has also promoted Self-Help Groups, boosting women’s income generation.

The foundation’s tribal upliftment initiatives focused on interventions in tribal-dominated districts like Dhamra and Rayagada, alongside cultural preservation efforts and community-led development models

It also developed community infrastructure by developing sanitation facilities, installing solar street lighting, and establishing drinking water systems. It further renovated village schools and community centers, directly impacting local quality of life.

Regarding sustainable development, the Foundation led plantation drives under its “Green Odisha” campaign. It champions water conservation through pond rejuvenation and rainwater harvesting projects.

The Adani Foundation committed to disaster relief and preparedness campaigns, providing active support during cyclones with emergency supplies, shelter, and rehabilitation. It also collaborated with local administration to conduct disaster readiness training.

Finally, the Foundation offered significant support during Rath Yatra in Puri. It provides free, nutritious meals for pilgrims and officials, conducts sanitation campaigns, sets up health booths, and offers logistical assistance. Volunteers also participated in extensive seva activities throughout the nine-day festival.

The Group partnered with the Puri district administration, ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness), and various local volunteer organisations to execute this large-scale welfare program.
