The High Court has directed the state government to submit detailed responses to nine critical questions.

Breaking News Live: IMD Predicts Heat Wave In North, Central India
IMD Scientist Naresh Kumar has said that temperatures, currently normal or below average, are expected to rise gradually over the next four to five days. A heat wave is likely to hit North West India beginning June 9, particularly West Rajasthan.
On June 10, the heat wave may extend to South Punjab, South Haryana, South Uttar Pradesh, and North Madhya Pradesh, he added.
In South India, there is a heavy rainfall forecast for Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
For Delhi and the NCR, there is no heat wave warning, but temperatures may rise by 2–4°C over the next few days, touching 43–44°C.
