Synopsis: In a precision defence win that extends its footprint into the BrahMos missile programme’s supply chain, Jaykay Enterprises Limited has received an order from BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited valued at approximately Rs.4.46 crore for the manufacture of PCB Warhead Casing Assemblies a contract that is modest in size but carries significant credentialing weight as a direct supplier to India’s premier supersonic missile programme.

Shares of a defence and aerospace manufacturer came into focus after the company disclosed a new order win linked to one of India’s most consequential missile programmes. The filing confirms Jaykay Enterprises as a supplier to BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited for the manufacture of PCB Warhead Casing Assemblies.

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 2,080.95 crore, the shares of Jaykay Enterprises Limited were trading at Rs. 159.72 per share, up 0.95 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 158.22 apiece.

The order, valued at approximately Rs.4.46 crore , is a domestic contract covering the manufacture of PCB Warhead Casing Assemblies for BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited. BrahMos Aerospace is a joint venture between India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroyeniya, and is the entity behind the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.

The warhead casing assembly is a structurally demanding component requiring precision machining that meets stringent aerospace tolerances. The company confirmed no related-party interest in the awarding entity, and execution is to proceed per the terms specified in the order.

At Rs.4.46 crore , the contract represents a small fraction of Jaykay’s current revenue run rate. The strategic read, though, is in the client. BrahMos Aerospace’s supply chain carries rigorous qualification requirements, and entry as a direct supplier  particularly for warhead-adjacent components  typically precedes larger-ticket repeat engagements. India’s defence indigenisation drive is pushing domestic missile output higher, and tier-2 suppliers with demonstrated BrahMos delivery credentials occupy a progressively stronger position in that pipeline.
