The company’s consolidated net profit for the March 2026 quarter grew by 142.99% to Rs. 134.57 crore, up from Rs. 55.38 crore in the same quarter the previous year. However, quarterly sales dropped by 22.77%, decreasing to Rs. 1,945.61 crore from Rs. 2,519.11 crore in March 2025.
For the full financial year 2025-26, the company reported a net loss of Rs. 309.43 crore, a significant change from the Rs. 81.45 crore profit recorded in FY25. Even with the annual loss, full-year sales increased by 19.77% to reach Rs. 7,548.05 crore. The company’s operating profit margin for the March quarter improved to 7.49%. This shows better operational efficiency despite slower top-line growth in the final three months.
The stock experienced high volatility after the earnings announcement on the NSE. Shares of SWSOLAR opened at Rs. 219.10 and reached an intraday high of Rs. 232.00, as investors reacted positively to the strong quarterly profit growth. However, during a broader market downturn where the NIFTY 50 dropped by 0.90%, the stock lost most of its gains, closing at Rs. 219.50, a slight increase of 0.39% from the previous close.
