Ghaziabad-based construction firm bags a prestigious government defence order, adding to its growing project portfolio Nacdac Infrastructure Limited has landed a new contract from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), one of India’s top defence electronics companies. The Ghaziabad-based firm will construct a test platform called ARUDHRA, along with a ramp, at BEL’s facility. The total contract value stands at Rs. 8.98 crore.

Nacdac Infrastructure’s Limited’s stock, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 30.41 crores, rose Rs. 28.88, up 4.3 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 26.06. Furthermore, the stock over the past year has given a negative return of 35 percent.

The project requires Nacdac to build a specialised test platform named ARUDHRA. It also includes construction of a ramp at BEL’s facility. BEL is a Navratna public sector enterprise under India’s Ministry of Defence. Winning this order puts Nacdac in a select group of contractors. Not every firm can qualify to bid for defence-linked infrastructure work.

The company said the order aligns with its broader growth strategy. Nacdac wants to position itself among firms capable of taking on complex, high-value government contracts. The management noted that securing projects across multiple states reflects strong client trust. It also shows the team’s ability to compete in a tough bidding environment. Furthermore, the company sees this as a step toward supporting India’s expanding infrastructure needs.

Company Overview

Nacdac Infrastructure started operations in 2012. The company builds multi-storey structures, steel frameworks, bridges, and electrical systems. It handles both low-tension and high-tension electrical work. 

These cover quality management, environmental standards, and worker safety. As of March 2025, its order book stood at Rs. 118.3 crore, featuring a diverse mix of civil projects. Groww Additionally, its H1 FY26 revenue surged 221% year-on-year, with net profit rising 154% to Rs. 2.1 crore. 

The BEL contract is routine in nature and received in the normal course of business, the company clarified. Nevertheless, it adds meaningful value to the firm’s growing track record in government-backed infrastructure work.
