What is the NEWS:
SML Mahindra Limited, in its sales disclosure for the 1st April 2026, disclosed its steady improvement in monthly and annual volumes. For the month of March FY26, the total sales stood at 2,457 units, compared to 2,315 units in the corresponding period last year, thereby growing by 6 percent during the period under consideration. Of this, cargo vehicles stood at 606 units, compared to 594 units last year, thereby growing by 2 percent , and passenger vehicles stood at 1,851 units, compared to 1,721 units last year, thereby growing by 8 percent .
For the period from April to March FY26, total sales stood at 16,632 units, compared to 14,221 units in FY25, thereby growing by 17 percent during the period under consideration. Of this, cargo vehicles stood at 5,412 units, compared to 4,215 units last year, thereby growing by a robust 28 percent , and passenger vehicles stood at 11,220 units, compared to 10,006 units last year, thereby growing by 12 percent . This steady growth in monthly and annual volumes, coupled with a robust 28 percent growth in cargo vehicles, gives a constructive view on its operational performance.
