A bulk deal refers to a large transaction in a company’s shares executed on the stock exchange, typically involving institutional investors. Such deals cross a prescribed volume threshold and are disclosed publicly, offering insights into investor sentiment, ownership changes, and market confidence in a particular stock.

Embassy Office Parks REIT

Embassy Office Parks REIT is India’s first listed Real Estate Investment Trust, owning and operating a large portfolio of premium office parks across major cities. Backed by global investors, it generates stable rental income from multinational tenants. The REIT focuses on high-quality commercial assets, long-term leases, and consistent distributions to unitholders.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 40,579 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 428 per share, increasing around 1.26 percent as compared to the previous closing price.

PPFAS Mutual Fund has bought 5.6 crore units of the real estate investment trust at Rs 420 per unit, amounting to Rs 2,364.4 crore. However, Capital Income Builder, American Funds, and Small Cap World Fund sold nearly 5.5 percent of the REIT’s units at the same price for Rs 2,199.7 crore.

Capital Income Builder offloaded 1.06 crore units (equivalent to 1.1 percent of the total units outstanding) for Rs 447.4 crore. American Funds Global Balanced Fund sold 1.25 crore units (1.3 percent stake) for Rs 525 crore, while 2.92 crore units (3.08 percent stake) were sold by Small Cap World Fund for Rs 1,227.3 crore.

R&B Denims is an Indian textile manufacturer engaged in producing denim fabrics for domestic and international markets. The company offers a wide range of innovative and sustainable denim products catering to fashion brands and garment exporters. With integrated manufacturing facilities, it focuses on quality, efficiency, and expanding its presence in the global apparel value chain.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 1,705 crore, the shares were trading at Rs 190 per share, decreasing around 4.99 percent as compared to the previous closing price.

According to the exchange, Pine Oak Global Fund has acquired 8.28 lakh shares in the Surat-based textile company for Rs 16.4 crore. The purchase price was Rs 198.6 per share.

Recently, R&B Denims Ltd secured a domestic order worth  Rs 215.88 crore for supplying approximately 12 million meters of denim fabric to merchant exporters. The contract will be executed within six months under agreed technical and commercial terms.
