SYNOPSIS: Oriental Hotels reported strong Q3 FY26 results with revenue up 26 percent QoQ, profit rising 63 percent QoQ, margin expansion, robust demand outlook; IHCL’s Taj ranked the world’s strongest hotel brand in 2025.

During Tuesday’s trading session, shares of an associate company of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) surged nearly 12 percent on BSE, after reporting strong Q3 FY26 results with a rise in net profit by around 63 percent QoQ and 44 percent YoY.

At 02:02 p.m., shares of Oriental Hotels Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 116.1 on BSE, up by over 3 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 112.6, with a market cap of Rs. 2,077 crores. The stock has delivered negative returns of over 30 percent in the last one year, but has gained by around 12 percent in the last one month.

Oriental Hotels Limited announced the financial results for the third quarter of FY26 on Tuesday during market hours, as per the latest regulatory filings with the stock exchanges.

For the quarter, the company posted a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 139.25 crores, reflecting a sequential growth of around 26 percent QoQ compared to Rs. 110.5 crores in Q2 FY26. On a year-on-year basis, revenue grew over 14 percent from Rs. 122 crores recorded in Q3 FY25.

Net profit for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs. 20.7 crore, indicating a significant increase of around 63 percent QoQ from Rs. 12.7 crores in Q2 FY26, and a growth on a year-on-year basis by around 44 percent from Rs. 14.4 crores reported in Q3 FY25.

Additionally, operational performance strengthened further, with EBITDA rising 20.7 percent YoY to Rs. 42 crore, up from Rs. 34.7 crore a year earlier. EBITDA margins expanded to 30 percent, compared with 28.4 percent in Q3 FY25.

Mr. Pramod Ranjan, Managing Director and CEO of Oriental Hotels, stated that the strong demand momentum in key markets such as Chennai and Cochin is expected to continue into the fourth quarter, supporting double-digit revenue growth for the current financial year.

During the same period, IHCL’s iconic brand Taj has been ranked as India’s Strongest Brand 2025 and the World’s Strongest Hotel Brand 2025 as per Brand Finance-UK.
