SYNOPSIS: Equity mutual fund inflows rebounded 21 percent to Rs. 29,911 crore in November 2025, with funds increasing stakes in select stocks across telecom, auto, finance, IT, and manufacturing sectors.

Net inflows into equity mutual funds rose sharply to Rs. 29,911 crore in November 2025, marking a 21 percent increase from Rs. 24,690.33 crore recorded in October, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI). This also marks the first rise in equity inflows in four months, following three consecutive months of decline.

Below are a few stocks in which mutual funds increased their stake during November 2025:

Vodafone Idea Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 1.25 lakh crores, the stock is currently trading in the green at Rs. 11.62 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of Vodafone Idea have gained nearly 9 percent, while delivering more than 77 percent returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by around 7 percent between October and November 2025. Total mutual fund shareholding climbed to 504.56 crore shares in November, compared with 471.74 crore shares in October 2025.

Ashok Leyland Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 1.01 lakh crores, the stock is currently trading in the green at Rs. 173.2 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of Ashok Leyland have gained nearly 19 percent, while delivering more than 65 percent returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by around 1 percent between October and November 2025. The total number of shares held by mutual funds rose to 46.44 crore in November, up from 46.12 crore shares in October 2025.

Shriram Finance Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 1.61 lakh crores, the stock is currently trading in the red at Rs. 860 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of Shriram Finance have gained more than 5 percent, while delivering around 46 percent of positive returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by around 6 percent between October and November 2025. Mutual funds increased their stake to 25.04 crore shares in November, from 23.6 crore shares held in October 2025.

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 1.26 lakh crores, the stock is currently trading in the green at Rs. 119.7 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of Samvardhana Motherson have gained nearly 7 percent, while delivering around 14 percent returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by nearly 4 percent between October and November 2025. Holdings increased to 180.22 crore shares in November, compared with 173.55 crore shares in October 2025.

L&T Finance Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 75,266.5 crores, the stock is currently trading in the green at Rs. 300.75 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of L&T Finance have gained over 1 percent, while delivering around 113 percent of multibagger returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by 5.3 percent between October and November 2025. Mutual funds increased their total shares to around 29.2 crore in November, up from 27.7 crore shares held in October 2025.

Tech Mahindra Limited

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 1.57 lakh crores, the stock is currently trading flat at Rs. 1,603.45 on Friday’s morning trading session. In the last one month, shares of Tech Mahindra have gained over 11 percent, while delivering around 9 percent of negative returns in one year.

Mutual fund interest in the stock strengthened during the period, with holdings rising by around 7 percent between October and November 2025. Total mutual fund shareholding grew to approximately 19 crore shares in November, compared with around 17.7 crore shares in October 2025.
